Andrew Wirts is the Sales & Marketing Director at NASCO Industries, Inc., where he has spent more than two decades helping safety professionals find the right protective workwear for the job. Andrew brings hands-on knowledge of the industries NASCO serves, with a focus on flame-resistant rainwear for utility, oil and gas, and industrial workers.
Beyond his role at NASCO, Andrew is an active voice in the safety standards community. He serves as a Committee Member with the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) and as a Task Group Chair with the American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM). He is the technical contact for ASTM F1891 and ASTM F2733 — the performance standards that govern arc-rated and flame-resistant rainwear. He is also an NFPA Individual Member.
Andrew holds a BA in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.
